Maytag Holiday Park Lights are open
Friends of Newton Parks and City of Newton Parks & Recreation are excited to share Maytag Park Holiday Lights have returned bigger and brighter in 2023. Clemon-Maki Insurance will once again serve as presenting sponsor. A title the company has had since the display opened in 2018.
Lights are open daily from dusk until 10 p.m. when the park closes. The event is free and open to all to enjoy thanks to the generous contribution of the event sponsors and many donations.
If you'd like to make a donation to the Holiday Lights, checks made to Jasper Community Foundation can be sent to Friends of Newton Parks - "Holiday Lights" at PO Box 844

nightly from 6-10 p.m.
Enjoy the Sounds of the Season for a second consecutive year your vehicle by tuning into local KCOB 95.9 FM starting at 6 p.m. You'll hear your favorite Christmas songs, messages about fun events taking place in Newton, history about the lights and the wonderful sponsors who make the event happen each year. Sounds of the Season are sponsored by City of Newton, Friends of Newton Parks, Costa Oil Change in Newton, and donations.
